The perfect couples’ getaway.
Take your partner away for a City break in the charming, historic and beautiful City of Florence where you will see the beautiful paintings and sculpture of the Renaissance such as works by Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Botticelli. Just off the fashionable shopping district of Via Tornabuoni on the north side of the river Arno, is the area housing Ognissanti church, known for its stunning frescoes and the grave of Botticelli. Piazza Ognissanti is where Florence's annual Antique Fair is held, drawing antique dealers and buyers worldwide. A hospital is conveniently located near the church. It is close to the river, between Ponte Vecchio and the central train station.
Florence is also famous for fashion and is the birthplace of several luxury powerhouses including Emilio Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Ermanno Scervino, and Salvatore Ferragamo. Luisa Via Roma near the iconic San Lorenzo street market is home to more than 600 luxury retailers, including Burberry and Jimmy Choo. Big-name boutiques can also be found at Via Tornabuoni, while in the surrounding streets there are upmarket leather stalls. Visitors looking to browse the high-street chains should head for the roads that branch off the Piazza Repubblica. But for a chance to see the latest collections from the leading designers, Florence Fashion Week, held through out the year at Pitti Immagine, is now one of the leading events in the industry calendar. Pitti imagine uomo is held twice a year in January and June at Fortezza Basso, Florence Exhibition centre.

This is without even mentioning the food and wine for which Italy is rightly famous. Everyone loves the freshly made pasta and pizza but when in Florence try the Bistecca alla Fiorentina, Pappardelle al Cinghiale and of course the gelato. Dinner can be enjoyed with a bottle of Chianti.

Perfect for exploring Florence.
“My husband, son and I stayed in this apartment for one week and it was perfect for exploring Florence. We purchased the 72 Hour/72 Museums Firenze Card and visited 26 museums in 3 days! Definitely recommend purchasing this card to avoid long lines at museums. We enjoyed the expresso coffee maker at 74 Borgo Ognisannti every morning with pastries from several nearby bakeries. So much so that we purchased an expresso coffee maker to bring home. Don't miss the terrific restaurant right across the street from the apartment. Walk over and make reservations for dinner. The food is fabulous and the owner is a treat. Every afternoon we threw open the shutters in the apartment and watched the locals go about their daily routine with a glass of Chianti from the local market. The apartment is very clean and everything worked well. Elisa was welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the start. We would definitely return to this apartment. Joyce.”
this apartment is a treat!
“If you want to celebrate in Florence, this apartment is a treat! It is central, clean and comfortable, with thoughtful customer service. The bakery below promises a delicious start to the day. And a few doors away is a friendly shop that seems to be open till all hours, where you can buy anything from fruit to Chianti Classico. If you arrive a bit tired after your journey, book a table at Il Profeta across the street, then have a drink at the roof-top bar in the Westin Excelsior in nearby Piazza d'Ognissanti, or Harry's Bar overlooking the river left from the square. The church in Piazza d'Ognissanti is worth a visit during a service, one of the nuns has a heavenly voice! Enjoy your treat...
